FTH4 is being built to be donated to the current toastmastersclubs.org stewards and, once accepted, run under the existing toastmastersclubs.org / toastmastersdistricts.org domains that clubs already trust.
The freetoasthost4.org domain is a proof-of-concept demo so the stewards (and pilot clubs) can evaluate a working system before adoption — it is not a long-term home and is not intended to compete with the existing service.
After handover, the demo domain is retired or kept as a test/staging environment under the stewards' control.

What is FreeToastHost?
In January of 2004, we introduced FreeToastHost to the Toastmasters community. Since that time, FreeToastHost has been helping clubs attract new members, operate more efficiently, and keep current members informed and interested.
Over 11,000 Toastmasters clubs around the world benefit from the no-cost websites and on-line tools provided by FreeToastHost — tools such as the meeting agenda, member directory, e-mail lists, and club calendars.

Twenty-two years and counting
From a single tool in January 2004 to a platform serving over 11,000 clubs today, FreeToastHost has been quietly rebuilt twice in its lifetime — once in August 2011 as FTH2, again in August 2018 as FTH3 with responsive templates and EU GDPR support — and is now being built a fourth time as FTH4.

FreeToastHost was created by a Toastmaster, and is maintained and supported by a group of Toastmasters, with the cooperation of Toastmasters International.
FreeToastHost websites use the domain names ToastmastersClubs.org and ToastmastersDistricts.org for the club and district websites, respectively — the same trusted addresses Toastmasters around the world have used for years.
The platform is maintained by volunteers and the cost of running it is covered by the community. There is no advertising, no upsell, and no paid tier — just free websites for clubs and districts that meet the eligibility rules.
